Autumn / Winter 26 Runway
A considered collection of texture, tone and modern layering, all unveiled on the Burnside Village runway.
Autumn / Winter 26 arrived at Burnside Village with quiet confidence. Set against the Fashion Mall last Thursday evening, the runway unfolded as a refined exploration of texture, tonal dressing and layered silhouettes, a modern response to how we want to dress now.
This season, fashion shifts away from excess and towards intention. The AW26 runway presented a collection built on depth rather than decoration, where fabric, form and finish carried the story. Think tactile knits, fluid tailoring and elevated everyday pieces designed to move seamlessly between moments.

Layering emerged as the defining base of the season. Soft outerwear was styled with ease, grounding looks that felt polished yet wearable for the every day Burnsidian. Tonal palettes from warm neutrals to deep winter hues created a sense of cohesion across the runway, allowing shape and fabrication to take centre stage. The result was fashion that felt composed, confident and distinctly modern.
Throughout the show, the focus remained on versatility. Each look suggested longevity rather than trend-chasing, reinforcing a wardrobe philosophy that favours considered investment and personal style. It was a reminder that the strongest fashion statements are often the most understated.
AW26 doubles down on texture. Leather, faux fur finishes and winter-weight layers.
Tonal dressing, thoughtfully done. Head-to-toe colour (from cool hues to deeper winter shades) reads instantly elevated, letting the fabrication do the talking.
It's here to stay - The scarf statement is a styling move, not just an accessory.
Modern texture: lace, sheen, and contrast. Delicate trims and subtle shine offset heavier winter layers, creating that AW26 tension we love - polished, directional, and still completely wearable.
