Physical gift cards are valid for 36 months from issue and are accepted at stores where EFTPOS is available. Cards can be redeemed at participating specialty stores and major retailers throughout the centre from fashion and beauty to home and electrical.
Choose between a physical card purchased online or at Concierge or digital gift card available exclusively online.
Please note all Burnside Village gift cards (physical and digital) incur a $2.95 card fee per card.
Purchase at Concierge
Visit our friendly Concierge team anytime during centre hours to purchase a Burnside Village gift card. Cards can be loaded with any amount from $10 - $4999 and will be ready to use within 48 hours of purchase. All gift cards are presented in a complimentary Burnside Village card carrier or for cards over $200 value, a Burnside Village gift box is included at no cost.
Outside regular centre opening hours our handy gift card kiosk is available for self-serve gift card sales.
Purchase Online
For family and friends interstate or overseas (with an Australian credit card) our online store is available 24/7 to purchase digital or physical Burnside Village gift cards.
Corporate Orders
If you are looking to reward your team or thank your clients with the perfect gift, Burnside Village physical gift cards are now available for Corporate Orders by direct debit. Simply download the Corporate Gift Card Request Form here and return to concierge@burnsidevillage.com.au. Please allow 5-10 working days from payment for order fulfilment and collection.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions
In these terms and conditions ‘you’ are the card purchaser or user. If you acquire the card you will have a contract with us. If another person wants to use your gift card, you must tell them that they are, and they must agree, to be bound by these terms and conditions. The card remains our property. NSW law applies to these terms and conditions. By using your gift card you unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sydney, New South Wales.
Frequently Asked Questions
Your Gift Card can be redeemed at any participating store where eftpos is available. Some retailers, at their discretion, may decline gift cards that are not their own. Also, some POS systems may not accept swipe or insert EFTPOS transactions.
Yes, there are some retailers who are not able to accept physical Burnside Village gift cards with their point-of-sale system or do not have a swipe enabled EFTPOS terminal.
Some retailers may choose not to accept Burnside Village gift cards. Please refer to the terms and conditions for more information.

Digital Gift Cards are redeemable at retailers with contactless payment facilities or online merchants where Apple Pay or Google Pay are accepted.
Use your gift card just like a regular bank card, simply swipe the gift card at the EFTPOS terminal, select SAVINGS and key in the PIN printed on the back of your gift card. The transaction amount should be for the same amount or less than the value of the available funds on the card.
Every retailer will handle returns as per their own in-store policies. The Burnside Village Gift Card is a non reloadable card which means funds cannot be returned to the card. The retailer may issue an in-store credit or process the refund to another card. Refunds are at the absolute discretion of the store.
If the purchase value is more than the available balance on your gift card, simply ask the cashier to split the payment. Pay the difference first, either with cash or another card. e.g If your gift card has an available balance of $30 but your total transaction is $70, you would ask to pay the $40 difference first and then use your gift card to pay the remaining $30. Make sure the EFTPOS terminal is showing the $30 value before swiping your gift card, selecting SAVINGS and entering your 4 digit PIN.
No. Your Burnside Village Gift Card is partially redeemable within the Gift Card’s validity period, any available balance on your gift card can be used for multiple purchases.
To check the balance of your Burnside Village Gift Card, you can:

- Check at the self serve kiosk
- Go to waivpay.com select Balance Check and enter your 11 digit card ID on the back of your Burnside Village Gift card,
Retailers cannot check a balance through their point-of-sale system.
Your Burnside Village Gift Card is valid for a period of 36 months from the date of issue as displayed on the back of the card. Gift cards cannot be extended or replaced past the validity period.
The funds on your gift card are valid only for the validity period – 36 months. Any remaining funds at the time of expiration are forfeited so we encourage you to spend all available funds before expiration. Expired gift cards cannot be refunded, reloaded or re-issued.
If your gift card is lost or stolen, this should be reported to our Concierge as soon as immediately possible. A replacement card may be reissued but fees and conditions apply.

Unfortunately, at this point in time it is not possible to make online purchases with your physical Burnside Village Gift Card. We recommend purchasing one of our Digital BURNSIDE VILLAGE Gift Cards which does have the online purchase feature available.
No. The Burnside Village Gift Card can only be used to make a purchase at an EFTPOS terminal and cannot be used for taking out cash either through an ATM or via the EFTPOS Terminal as an addition to an in-store purchase. eg If your purchase is for $30 and your gift card is valued at $50, you cannot make the purchase and request the remaining $20 as cash back.
No. Once your card has been activated the available balance is yours to use. You will not be charged any post card fees for redemptions or balance checks on your card.
No. Funds are fixed to your Burnside Village Gift Card and cannot be transferred onto another card. Multiple gift card values cannot be transferred onto the one card.
No, your gift card is what’s known as a ‘single load’ card, meaning the card can be loaded once and can only be used while within the expiry dates or until the loaded funds are depleted.
