Changing Places Toilet Facility
Our Changing Places Toilet Facility allows people with support needs to confidently enjoy a visit to Burnside Village. Opened in May 2025, the brand-new facility includes:
- a height-adjustable adult-sized change table
- a constant-charging ceiling track hoist system
- a centrally-located peninsula toilet
- additional circulation space more than standard accessible toilets
- an automatic door with a clear opening of 950 mm at a minimum
- a privacy screen.

Accessible Bathrooms
Wheelchair accessible bathrooms are available throughout Burnside Village on the ground floor, Level 1 and Level 2.
Ground floor locations:
- Near Jurlique, Atrium Mall
- Behind Seed, Fashion Mall
- Near Bakers Delight, Village Market/Sydney St entrance
Level 1 locations:
- Near Zara
- Behind Boost Juice
Level 2 location:
- Next to the lifts (southside)
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking bays are located by main entry points and lifts. In the undercover parking areas in Basement 1 and Basement 2 accessible parks are indicated with a blue light. Users of accessible parking bays should always display their Government issue disability parking permit.
Wheelchair Hire
For mobility-impaired customers, Burnside Village Concierge offers complimentary non-motorised wheelchairs. Please keep in mind, these wheelchairs are in high demand and subject to availability. To hire a non-motorised wheelchair, valid identification must be provided.
