Burnside Village recognised at the 2026 Retail Asia Awards

The award recognises destinations across the Asia-Pacific that bring together retail, dining and lifestyle in a distinctive and considered way. For Burnside Village, it reflects the impact of its May 2025 redevelopment, which introduced 80 new stores across three levels, Adelaide’s first luxury precinct, enhanced community spaces, amenities and additional free parking. Strong retailer demand has driven a highly curated mix of first-to-market brands alongside new dining, health and wellness and home and lifestyle precincts.

Cohen Group CEO Gregg Downer said this recognition reflects the vision, investment and collective effort behind Burnside Village’s transformation.

“This international award honour is a meaningful endorsement of the Cohen Group’s long-term vision for Burnside Village and of the care taken to curate a destination that brings together luxury and premium retail, dining and lifestyle in a way that feels both relevant and enduring,” he said.

Burnside Village has also been shortlisted in the 2026 The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence in the Retail category, with winners to be announced on 24 July 2026.
